Inter-Parliamentary Action

Where governments reach their limits, parliaments can keep dialogue alive — sustaining the long search for peace in the Middle East and beyond.

Peace in the Middle East has eluded the world for well over half a century. The Committee on Middle East Questions of the Inter-Parliamentary Union began its work in 1987, tracking and supporting the peace process between Israel and Palestine, and has since expanded to cover peace, security and dialogue throughout the region. Dr. David F. Puyana is regularly invited to its sessions.
